Senior Accountant

Area of responsibility

• Creation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HBG and IFRS

• Creation of provisions and accruals and deferrals

• Sales tax pre-registrations and declarations

• Support and responsibility for ongoing financial accounting including accounts receivable and accounts payable. For example, with regard to finance and reporting • Compliance with internal processes in accordance with SOX guidelines

• Contact person for auditors / internal auditors / tax consultants

• Cash flow planning and monitoring

• Analysis and evaluation of the sales, cost and profit situation

• Creation of delimitations for internal and external accounting

Requirements profile

• A degree in business administration or a completed commercial apprenticeship with further training to become an accountant

• Several years of professional experience in the area of balance sheet accounting

• Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage

• Confident handling of MS Office programs and knowledge of SAP are desirable

• Fluent German and very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

• Independent, committed and assertive way of working, characterized by high analytical thinking and “hands-on” mentality

• Team-oriented, communicative personality with pleasure in actively approaching people
