Ihr Profil und Aufgaben:

• Dein Ziel ist die Planung, Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung eines State-of-the-Art Telekommunikationsnetzes als Basis für sämtliche Produkte der Deutschen Giga Access
• Bewertung und Testung der Technologien und Hersteller und Erarbeitung von skalierbaren, kosteneffizienten und flexiblen Netzkonzepte.
• Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung der Netze gehören dabei ebenso zu den Aufgaben, sowie die technische Entwicklung und Entwicklung neuer Service Angebote
• Konfiguration und Optimierung unserer Backbone- und Access-Netzwerkinfrastruktur, inklusive der Rechenzentrumsplattform
• Erarbeitung, Entwicklung und Dokumentation von Netzkonzepten der relevanten Netzebenen
• Analyse der technischen Marktentwicklung und Bewertung von möglichen Einsatzszenarien
• Verantwortung für die funktionale und kapazitive Weiterentwicklung der verschiedenen Netzebenen
• Verantwortung für die technische Umsetzung der entwickelten Konzepte in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Vordienstleister und Herstellern und Deinen Kollegen der anderen Fachbereiche
• Unterstützung im Betrieb und dem Programmmanagement in technischen Fragestellungen
• Verfolgung aktueller Entwicklungen und Trends im Netzwerkbereich (Software-defined Datacenter/ Networking, Automatisierung, Seamless MPLS etc.) sowie Evaluierung dieser Technologien und Produkte für den Bereich
• Kreative und integrale Planung von Ortsanbindungen über Glasfaserbasierte IP-Lösungen
• Erstellen von Anbindungs- und Netz-Konzepten
• Beratung bei technischen Fragestellungen zur Backboneplanung

Your profile and responsibilities:

• Your goal is to plan, build and further develop a state-of-the-art telecommunications network as the basis for all Deutsche Giga Access products.
• Evaluation and testing of technologies and manufacturers and development of scalable, cost-efficient and flexible network concepts.
• Further development and optimisation of the networks are also part of the tasks, as well as the technical development and development of new service offerings
• Configuration and optimisation of our backbone and access network infrastructure, including the data centre platform
• Elaboration, development and documentation of network concepts for the relevant network levels
• Analysis of technical market developments and evaluation of possible deployment scenarios

• Creative and integral planning of local connections via fibre-based IP solutions
• Creation of connection and network concepts
• Advice on technical questions regarding backbone planning
