Technical skills:
- Advanced knowledge on optical transport and ROADM/DWDM technologies/products.
- Strong understanding of Transmission Technologies and Protocols (Ethernet L2/L3, MPLS-TP, Carrier Ethernet, IP/MPLS, GMPLS, OTN, SDH, MEF 2.0);
- Understanding of Management System architecture (OSS), OSs (Windows, Linux and Unix) and VM environments (VMWARE), NBI interfaces (SNMP/Cobra/Rest/Xml);
- Experience with optical test equipment, i.e. Traffic generator, Power Meter, OTDR, Optical attenuators, OSA, Wireshark;
- Experience in technical support for DWDM products or similar activities, i.e. commissioning and integration, optical networks planning and optimization, system verification will be a strong plus;
- Experience in IP/MPLS networks architectures and DCN network design\realization and support for interconnecting Transport Network devices to management system (good knowledge of IP and OSI routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, ISIS).
Abilità tecniche:
- Conoscenza avanzata sul trasporto ottico e sulle tecnologie / prodotti ROADM / DWDM.
- Ottima conoscenza delle tecnologie e dei protocolli di trasmissione (Ethernet L2 / L3, MPLS-TP, Carrier Ethernet, IP / MPLS, GMPLS, OTN, SDH, MEF 2.0);
- Comprensione dell’architettura del sistema di gestione (OSS), sistemi operativi (Windows, Linux e Unix) e ambienti VM (VMWARE), interfacce NBI (SNMP / Cobra / Rest / Xml);
- Esperienza con apparecchiature di prova ottiche, ad esempio generatore di traffico, misuratore di potenza, OTDR, attenuatori ottici, OSA, Wireshark;
- L’esperienza nel supporto tecnico per prodotti DWDM o attività simili, ovvero messa in servizio e integrazione, pianificazione e ottimizzazione di reti ottiche, verifica del sistema sarà un forte vantaggio;
- Esperienza in architetture di reti IP / MPLS e progettazione di reti DCN \ realizzazione e supporto per l’interconnessione di dispositivi della rete di trasporto al sistema di gestione (buona conoscenza dei protocolli di instradamento IP e OSI come RIP, OSPF, ISIS).
