RIZE’s client is looking to recruit a Microwave Site Manager (m/f/d) in South Africa on a contract basis.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assisting the rollout manger to analyze and resolve the dependency for the new Microware equipment installation, i.e. special bracket procurement, site access, site acquisition
• Managing the link build and arranging the resources of subcontractors according to the project delivery plan
• Directing, overseeing and managing subcontractor’s installation quality according to customer spec’s and standards
• Leading discussion with customer’s transmission engineers and SME
• End to End TX technologies managements
• Maintaining and overseeing the completion of acceptance paperwork
• MW troubleshooting
• Ensuring that the inventory of the Microwave equipment is accurate for the new equipment installation / assist subcontractors and warehouses to return the unused or dismantled equipment

Your Profile:

• Having at least 4 years’ experience in transmission microwave (MW) project for support or maintenance or implementation
• Understanding the components and functions of MW, EBU, the microwave network equipment, including IDU, ODU, CTN, Antenna, Switch, etc.
• Experience in installation and commissioning of MW equipment
• Good at communication, optimistic and proactive, able to bear the pressure of the project, and willingness to go extra mile
• English is the working language. Good communication in Afrikaans’ language is a plus.
• South African nationality is preferred
• Valid Tower Climbing Certificate, SA drive license and Health certificate is a plus
• Good management skills (preferred)
