• You perform the daily operational tasks on the IP Core and data centre network components;
• You grant 2nd tier IP support to other technology groups or internal departments;
• You act as a technology expert for specific domains and assume full responsibility within the team;
• You perform acceptance and regression testing when engaging in new components, services or technologies;
• You develop and implement operational maintenance and provisioning tools and procedures;
• You measure and analyse the quality and load of the network and its impact on the quality of the service;
• You lead projects independently or represent the team at interdepartmental projects;

Internal and external contacts – hierarchical position

• Reports to the Manager Data Network Operations
• Cooperates closely with the other NOC technology groups, NOC Service Operations Centre, NAS, TB, Network Engineering

Training and experience Level

• You have a higher education (Master/Ing/LIC level) in a technical direction (informatics, Telecom, Electronics) or equivalent through experience;
• You have a good knowledge of (technical) English and speak a mouth French;
• You have a good knowledge of the IP protocol and its applications, IP routing protocols, LAN and WAN switching, MPLS, Wi-Fi and VPN solutions;
• You preferably have a comprehensive hands-on experience with Nokia Service routers and/or Juniper routers and switches;
• Knowledge of mobile core networks is an important plus point;
• You have a good knowledge of Network Management;
• You have a good knowledge of Unix and Python scripting;
• You are ready to be 24/24 permanent;
• You are stress-resistant, and you have a sense of responsibility;
• You are working independently as well as in a team;
• You have a good analytical ability, are eager to learn and are also willing to share knowledge;
