RIZE’s client is looking to recruit an IP Engineer (m/f/d) in Johannesburg.

Your Profile and Responsibilities:

• Excellent understanding and experience of router Integration, Implementing, Testing, proofing and documentation of IP network solutions for existing & new services in network systems for LANs (local area networks), WANs (wide area networks) and the Internet
• Designing experience of an advantage
• Experience and understanding of protocols like IPSec, BGP, OSPF, ISIS. Routers, Switches, Firewall, NAT, PAT, Multicasting, MPLS-TE, VPLS, QOS, MBGP, VPN, PWE etc.
• Understanding of MPLS / Layer-3 trouble shooting
• Ability to resolve network outages with minimal disruption of service
• Recommend and perform remedial actions to eliminate similar future troubles
• Ability to identify risks of network and take appropriate actions
• Can provide support in defining and implementing network improvements, moves, additions and changes
• Document network moves, additions and changes
• Maintain accurate records of network problems reported and resolutions provided for future reference
• CCIE/CCNP/CCIP certification of an advantage
