• Willing to work as an installer as well as a supervisor initially
• Can be secured below the daily rate
• Fixed CAT5 / FTTH installation experience

Responsibilities

• Work with deployment teams to ensure network is deployed according to design and plan.
• Track productivity against plan, ensuring the project schedule is being met
• Installation of broadband services in accordance with company and industry best practice
• Ensure installations are completed to a superior standard
• Act as the Company Ambassador to residents, building managers and clients
• Responsible for materials delivered to site, monitoring storage and usage
• Report into Supervisors & Deployment Managers of on-site installation progress
• Ensure all test results are collected and submitted to Deployment Managers
• Manage and support engineers & 3rd party sub-contractors on-site to ensure installations are complete onto and on budget,
• Ancillary reporting submissions

• Cat5e cable installation (Cable pulling and cable management, termination & testing)
• Cat5e cable termination and testing
• Fibre optic cable installation
• Data cabinet installation
• Excellent light domestic building work skills (drilling, making good)
• Working with deployment related documentation to support installation (Surveys, RAMS, BoM)
• Installation and Commissioning of communications equipment
• Completing handover / acceptance documentation
• Familiarisation with Construction & Engineering Health & Safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Some IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
