Job Description

RIZE’s client is looking to recruit a Cloud Solution Architect (m/f/d) in Thailand.

Your Profile:

  • 3 + years of cloud service (implementation/consulting) experience including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure components
  • Cloud certifications, Huawei Cloud, Azure, AWS or GCP, one or more (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, Professional, and AWS Developer, AWS DevOps Engineer, Associate Level or Above)
  • Technical knowledge of common technology systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of the basic concerns for operations, security, reliability, performance, and cost
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations
  • Experience working with System Integrators and knowing the market landscape desired
  • Experience in writing technical course content, technical articles, and blog posts desired
  • Hands-on use of AWS services (or Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud) in distributed environments desired
  • Experience in large scale migrations to AWS or implementing and operating large scale applications on AWS desired
  • Technical MS degree (CS, engineering, math, etc.) or equivalent professional or military experience desired

Your Responsibilities:

  • Educate customers on the value proposition, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Build relationships with technical individuals to enable them to be cloud advocates
  • As a key member of the sales team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on our Cloud platform
  • In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of our Cloud
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
  • A demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Some travel required (20-30% domestic travel, travel across Latin America and occasional broader international travel)
