RIZE’s client is looking to recruit a Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) in Mexico.

Your Responsibilities:

• Educate customers on the value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Build deep relationships with technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
• As a key member of the sales team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on our Cloud platform
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of our Cloud
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
• Deep technical skills and trusted advisor in Cloud Service Solution Architecture
• A demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
• Some travel required (20-30% domestic travel, travel across Latin America and occasional broader international travel)

Basic Requirements:

• 3 + years of cloud service (implementation/consulting) experience including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure components
• Cloud certifications, Huawei Cloud, Azure, AWS or GCP, one or more (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, Professional, and AWS Developer, AWS DevOps Engineer, Associate Level or Above)
• Technical knowledge of common technology systems is required
• Fundamental knowledge of the basic concerns for operations, security, reliability, performance, and cost
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working with System Integrators and knowing the market landscape
• Experience writing technical course content, technical articles, and blog posts
• Hands-on use of AWS services (or Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud) in distributed environments
• Experience in large scale migrations to AWS or implementing and operating large scale applications on AWS
• Technical MS degree (CS, engineering, math, etc.) or equivalent professional or military experience
